THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
We are seeking an experienced SAP Service Cloud and Field Service Management (FSM) Functional Architect to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Service Management and Field Service Management solutions within the SAP Public Cloud environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Service Management and FSM, with a strong focus on leveraging SAP’s cloud capabilities to align with business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
Architecture & Design
- Design end-to-end SAP Service Management and Field Service Management processes in alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Develop scalable and efficient solutions using SAP Public Cloud capabilities, including FSM integration.
Implementation & Configuration
- Configure and customize SAP Public Cloud Service Management modules, including Service Order Management, Service Contract Management, and Customer Service.
- Implement SAP Field Service Management (FSM) solutions, including workforce scheduling, mobile field operations, and integration with service processes.
- Lead system testing, integration, and deployment activities for Service and Field Service Management.
Business Process Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for service and field service management processes.
- Map requirements to SAP Public Cloud and FSM capabilities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with other functional teams (e.g., Finance, Logistics, Sales) to ensure seamless integration of service and field service management processes across SAP modules.
- Provide subject matter expertise to project teams and clients on both Service and FSM solutions.
Training & Documentation
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
- Create detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and system architecture related to Service and FSM solutions.
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements for Service and FSM solutions.
- Stay updated on SAP Public Cloud and FSM advancements, recommending innovative solutions to improve service and field service delivery.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Seven (7)+ years of SAP experience with a focus on Service Management and/or Field Service Management.
- Three (3)+ years of experience with SAP Public Cloud solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP FSM.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing SAP Service Management and FSM solutions in a cloud environment.
Skills
- Strong understanding of SAP Public Cloud architecture and capabilities, including FSM.
- Expertise in Service and Field Service Management processes, including service order management, service contracts, field workforce scheduling, and mobile operations.
- Knowledge of integration tools and techniques (e.g., APIs, middleware) for FSM and SAP Service Management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid project methodologies is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- SAP certification in Service Management, Field Service Management, or related modules.
- Experience in industries with high service and field service demands (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, telecommunications) with Fire & Life Safety preferred.
- Knowledge of emerging SAP technologies, such as SAP Fiori, IoT integrations, and machine learning for FSM and Service Management.
