Overview
A leading global provider of innovative solutions is seeking a SAP EWM Senior Analyst. This hands-on role focuses on the architecture, configuration, and integration of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) with various enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to deliver complex projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and design for SAP S/4 HANA EWM integrations with ERP, TMS, and other systems.
- Own software delivery, including best practices and continuous improvement.
- Analyze business/user needs, define systems scope, and lead full development lifecycle.
- Configure and maintain SAP EWM system, handling unit management, wave management, inbound/outbound/internal warehouse processes, and RF mobile data entry.
- Document processes and milestones; ensure alignment with enterprise architecture strategies.
- Act as team lead on projects, manage scope, risk, resources, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Conduct system testing, training, and user support within functional EWM areas.
- Contribute to enterprise technology strategy and adoption of best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in software development/architecture.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience including 2–3 end-to-end S/4 HANA implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- SAP EWM configuration: master data integration, inbound/outbound/internal movement processes.
- Complex storage types, stock removal strategies, palletization, handling unit management.
- RF transactions and ITS Mobile.
- Exception handling, queue/task management, slotting, cross-docking.
- Barcode label printing using SmartForms (e.g., GS1-128, Code-128).
- EWM-ECC integration, ABAP debugging, BADI, ALV reporting.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, MS Project, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to MES systems, warehouse management, transportation planning.
- Experience with project leadership in matrixed environments.
- Understanding of enterprise application architecture methodologies and frameworks.
