Job Title: SAP MOC Functional Consultant

Position Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- Work closely with business users to gather and understand user requirements.
- Translate user requirements into technical specifications.
- Determine which change requests require configuration changes and which require customization in SAP.
Design and Configuration
- Design, configure, and deploy SAP MOC processes within SAP EHS or related modules.
- Configure MOC Approval/Activity hierarchies, notification systems, and user interfaces to align with organizational policies and processes.
- Focus on finding out of the box or configuration options that satisfy the user requests.
Development Assistance
- Assist in the development and implementation of changes based on technical specifications.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and efficient development of customizations.
Workflow Analysis and Improvement
- Analyze current workflows to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Propose and implement solutions to streamline and enhance workflows.
Integration
- Integrate SAP MOC with other SAP modules (e.g., Plant Maintenance) to streamline operations and ensure seamless data flow.
Testing and Validation
- Conduct testing and validation of configured and customized solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements and function as intended.
Documentation and Training
- Create and maintain documentation for configured and customized processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- For those candidates without a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Extensive experience with SAP EHS and MOC processes.
- Strong understanding of SAP configuration and customization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong requirements elicitation, gathering, and documentation skills, at business, functional, and technical levels.
- Ability to manage customer requirements and scope discussions.
- Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation communication skills.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to effectively work and create effective partnerships with employees at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Multilingual English and Portuguese a plus.
- Ability to take ownership of a problem and drive it to resolution.
