Job Description:

Metas Solutions has an "immediate opening" for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant - S4/HANA Migration to work Remotely who is strong in integrating proprietary system in all aspects of the system migration and implementation as well as technical writing support services to a government agency. This position will work independently in reviewing the ongoing progress of the project and submit findings and recommendations. This candidate shall provide subject matter expertise and consultation, provide knowledge transfer sessions, and make relevant system documentation available.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as an independent consultant to the government for an SAP CRM and ECC migration to S4/HANA and have expertise in SAP technologies and S4/ HANA implementations.
2. Perform Independent Verification and Validation services for Systems Integrator and other activities related to the migration to S4/HANA.
3. Develop a project work plan for the work defining the associated tasks and timelines for recommended improvements and review of implementation processes and making recommended improvements. The plan shall align with the system integrator project plan, activities, and deliverables when these items are available.
4. Review and make recommendations on both the management and the technical aspects of the S4/HANA project implementation. The results of this analysis shall be provided directly to the government client as per timelines established in the project work plan. Provide a risk management assessment of the overall S4/HANA implementation.
5. Review and analyze S4/HANA project management, planning documentation and functional and technical documentations and make recommendations for improvements. This should include reviewing the project deliverables and system documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to functional requirements.
6. Review and monitor planning, development, and implementation processes to ensure that they are being documented, carried out, and analyzed for improvement.
7. Perform a detailed review of the technical architecture and the application software for feasibility, consistency, and adherence to industry and programming standards. Review and analyze system capacity and performance metrics.
8. Analyze application, network, hardware, and software operating platform performance characteristics relative to expected/anticipated/guaranteed results and industry standards/expectations.
9. Review the process for tracking business and technical requirements to their source and review the process established during the planning phase for requirements traceability throughout the subsequent development/implementation phase including design, development, testing, and training. Provide recommendations to client for process improvements for process, technology, and people (training, O&M support etc.).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years of implementation and 4-5 years' experience with SAP S4/HANA implementations. This should include experience migrating to S4/HANA and the cloud.
• Functional configuration to include 8-10 years' experience with SAP CRM, SAP ECC FI/CO, SD and BI/BW. Experience to include project planning, requirements, design, development, testing, operations and maintenance and training experience with SAP CRM, ECC and S4/HANA.
• Experience establishing and monitoring systems capacity and performance metrics with SAP S4/HANA.
• Experience analyzing application, network, hardware, and software operating platform performance characteristics relative to expected/anticipated/guaranteed results and industry standards/expectations with SAP S4/HANA.
• Experience performing detailed reviews of the system documentation (Requirements, Design, Training, Testing, and Management Plans, etc.) for accuracy and completeness for SAP S4/HANA.
• Experience with oral presentations to senior clients to provide project workplan deliverables and improvement recommendations. Also, must have effective written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with direct management in supporting services and information management operations, preferably in a consulting role. Experience performing knowledge transfer when implementing S4/HANA.
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and quickly shift context and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Release 2023 of SAP S4/HANA experience.
• Azure Government Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) experience.
• Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Software as a Service (SaaS) experience.
• Azure Government Cloud Authority to Operate (ATO) experience.
